Note: The methodology of the survey is the same as for the cathedral of Caltagirone, with the addition of the new Nikon total station (NPL 520) that for the first time, we are in 1998, used a laser pointer precision capable of beating steps detect up to a distance of 120 meters without a prism, which allowed us to parameterize, straighten and create mosaics of photographic images. Also, unlike pad Caltagirone Cathedral, was built a polygonal bound and compensated inside the temple with several stations for aisle which was subsequently anchored to the polygon outside the temple, which has allowed us to control errors angular and distance. Were made 165 boards and relief detail and I stand were taken more than 6,000 photographs and slides.
