Prerequisite take-over for the drawing of the final design for the safety of the “Timpa” Acireale, and for the protection, erosion by water currents, the sea floor north of the village of “S. Maria La Scala “. The relief of rocky ridges was carried out with total station accuracy with laser and GPS surveying with “Base” and “Rover” in constant connection with radio modems. While the bathymetric survey was carried out always with GPS surveying, where the “Rover” was placed on speed boat equipped with dual frequency transducer. The coordinates are in Gauss-Boaga linked to the national grid IGM.
